What is managed IT support?

Managed IT support is a service where an external IT provider takes responsibility for managing your business IT systems. This includes maintaining your infrastructure, resolving technical issues, and providing ongoing support to ensure your IT environment runs smoothly. 

Who is managed IT support suitable for?

Our managed IT support is suitable for businesses of all sizes, WorkReady has been specifically designed for start ups and small businesses, whereas WorkTogether is for small/medium businesses to enterprise level organisations.

How quickly can I get support if something goes wrong?

Our helpdesk is available to provide support during business hours, with emergency support available outside of these times if required. 

We offer a market leading 15-minute SLA for user impacting or companywide issues – for example, even if just one employee cannot work, we will have an engineer on it within 15 minutes. 

For all other technical support issues, we’ll be with you in 60 minutes or less. And for change requests or administrative tasks we’ll get back to you within 4 hours.  

How do I know if my business needs managed IT support?

Can Select Technology help keep my business and my team up to date?

Yep, we provide best in class end-user training and workshops, including monthly training sessions for Microsoft 365 applications (such as Excel, Teams, PowerPoint) for you team as well as quarterly AI and automation workshops. At the same time, we provide regular testing of your staff against security attacks (phishing, ransomware, viruses).

How much monitoring and maintenance does WorkReady include?

We provide 24/7 proactive monitoring, our team analyses and monitors your network, devices and connectivity to prevent issues. We identify and resolve potential issues before they impact your business. Additionally, we regularly provide updates and system checks to avoid downtime and improve performance. 

Do I need Microsoft 365 Business Premium?

Microsoft 365 Premium offers more than just the standard apps. With Microsoft 365 Business Premium, you get access to applications and tools that increase your business data security and productivity, with Defender, Autopilot and Intune.

Some of our laptops are quite new; can we keep them?

With device standardisation, we are able to ensure that your organisation has the most secure and reliable devices ensuring that your team can be reassured that they are unlikely to have any problems. We are flexible if the device you already have match our specifications. With newer devices we will be able to give you a higher trade-in value.

Is there an option to purchase the laptop upfront rather than through instalments?

We do not offer an option to pay for the laptop upfront. The laptop is provided via a lease in collaboration with our finance partner, CF Corporate.

Is there a buyout or transfer of ownership option at the end of the lease?

Yes, through CF Corporate Finance, you will have the option to purchase the device at the end of the lease term. The buyout cost will be determined as the agreement nears its conclusion

Can I have onsite support as well?

Onsite support is not included as part of our WorkReady package as it’s not normally needed in cloud-only environments. However, we can provide a quotation for onsite support if needed.​

Can we include our overseas subsidiary in our agreement?

Yes! Subject to reviewing time differences we are able to accommodate this.
