The Kent AI Conference is fast approaching, and we’re delighted to announce that James Wilson, Head of Change and AI Strategy at Illuminate Learning, a Microsoft partner, will be speaking.

Who is James Wilson?
James is a seasoned Technology Adoption Consultant with over 20 years of experience in the IT industry, specialising in helping businesses grow through the strategic adoption and optimisation of Microsoft technologies. As the AI Lead at Illuminate Learning, James is instrumental in delivering innovative solutions that drive business transformation and efficiency.
James began his career with Microsoft in 2008 as an Evangelist, where he significantly contributed to the growth of major retail organisations across the UK. He has since provided consultancy to nearly all of the UK’s top Value-Added Resellers, enabling them to harness technology for competitive advantage and operational excellence.
With a background in mechanical and electrical engineering, James’s approach is characterised by a blend of technical expertise and a deep understanding of business needs. His hands-on methodology and relentless curiosity have led him to successfully manage a wide range of projects, both professionally and personally.
At Illuminate Learning, James focuses on creating strategic frameworks that help businesses maximise the potential of their technology investments. His work has led to measurable improvements in productivity, reduced downtime, and enhanced data security for clients, including some of the world’s largest IT companies like Microsoft and HP.
