About Emma Mulqueeny OBE
Emma Mulqueeny OBE is a British technologist and educator. She is best known for co-founding Rewired State and Young Rewired State, which provided a community and events for technically gifted young people. She has campaigned for programming to be taught from an early age in UK schools to encourage wider uptake and increased diversity in the tech sector. She wrote a series of posts about Gen Zedders, that she called 97ers and gave a TedX talk about them. More recently she is working as Chief of Staff in SUSE, an opensource technology company and is leading on several programmes including setting up an early career pathway across the whole business and has been researching the needs of this generation as they enter the workplace.
